Drive to Gylteveien 29 in Drøbak. Park along the left side of the road as you drive towards the location.
Facilities:
This is a old dive center, belonging to Hydra. It has compressor, toilet, shower and rental equipment. The center seems to be open only for Hydras PADI students.
Inside the PADI center there are posters informing that you are not allowed hunt in Gylteviken. I think this ban is not legally binding, but it is a good idea anyway. Alot of potential divers has their first underwater experience here, and it would be nice if there is some life for them to experience. Therefore, please do not hunt in the area.
POI:
There are two training platform at 5m, just below the two buoy outside the dock.
There is a small wreck at about 14m. Almost straight out from the platforms.
There are several large lobster living in the area, some can be found on the top of the wall at 14-18m, others can be found in the artificial habitat created for them.
There is a short wall from the shore and out in the fjords. The deepest part is at 18m, bellow a reef marker. It is possible to swim around the reef, the shallowest part is close to land and at about 5m.
There is an illuminated underwater trail at the location. But it seems to be out of order at the moment.
